2019 Space Day at Texas Capitol

On February 26th Space Day Texas 2019 was launched at the Capitol with over 2500 people in attendance. Texas State University participated by hosting two tables at the event where educators were encouraged to take advantage of the NASA lessons along with EPDC materials & resources made available. Close to 70 students of all ages created rovers and parachutes and spent time on the ISS through the virtual reality glasses. The rotunda was full of exciting STEM experiences which lead to the event’s success.
